Her Two Doms by Sierra Cartwright

Double the trouble-Uptight attorney Victoria West takes a yearly cruise to get away from it all and explore her wild side with Dom Master Devon, but she’s stunned when Master Gabriel shows up to give her the beating she craves.

Double delicious... Victoria West is furious when her regular Dom, Master Devon, isn’t available for a scene. She has scened with him every year for five years, and there is a comfort level she expects for her large chunk of money.

When Master Gabriel commands her to her knees, she’s overwhelmed. He’s tall and rugged, exacting in his requirements, pushing her out of her comfort zone. The man wields a wicked flogger, and he is even more inflexible and demanding than Master Devon.

The next day, she’s scandalised when both Doms drag her from her cabin to participate in a scene they’ve set up just for her. Uncompromisingly, the men demand all she has to offer, and then some...

I really liked the potential of this story a lot but it was more like a short story than an actual novel or even a novella. It took me less than two hours to read from start to finish. I certainly do not feel that it was worth the price of $3.49 for the Kindle version on Amazon. At best, this "book" should have been priced at $.99 because it is so short and more than a little disappointing. This is certainly far from Ms. Cartwright's best effort.

Although I did like the storyline, there was just so much left unfinished. I thought it was just getting started when, to my astonishment, the book simply ended. To me, it was like an appetizer with no succeeding courses. It basically consists of two encounters between three characters spread over a period of two days. The storyline has so much more potential than was demonstrated and that storyline left so many questions unanswered. The ending was abrupt and left you hanging and wondering what was going to happen with all three characters. I felt there were all kinds of questions, none of which were addressed at all. There were tremendous possibilities for the story to be expanded and for the characters and their individual lives to be more fully explored. That just didn't happen and, as a result, I just couldn't really connect with any of the characters or with the setting of the story. Again, I felt like the story was left unfinished and I was very disappointed when the story just ended. To my knowledge, there is no subsequent book that Ms. Cartwright has written that fills in the gaps or finishes the story and that is really unfortunate. I have read quite a number of Ms. Cartwright's books that I have absolutely loved and this is the first one that I seriously cannot recommend. In my opinion, this was far from her best effort.

Due to the price of the Kindle version of this book, its very short length and the fact that the storyline is incomplete and unsatisfying, I can't say I would recommend this book at all. Perhaps if it were marketed in a package deal with several other Sierra Cartwright books, it might be worth the price but even then the disappointment with the storyline and character development would still not lead me to recommend it. I think even the most devoted fans of Sierra Cartwright will find this book to be a disappointment.

A very good short story. If you want to be hot and bothered just from reading words, this is the book for you.
A unique juggling act of Dom Dom and sub. The story engages your darkest side and entices you with a believable twist to an already erotic thought premise.
I guess I was expecting more, but this one just didn't deliver. At the end, I was left thinking, "That was it???"
I usually like her books and always browse or other internet sites for her new works. This book was just okay. It did not have the sizzle of her other books; however, I would recommend it to others who think she tells good stories and I will certainly continue to buy her books.
Not allot to say, the blurb says it all. and yes I do mean all. The cover art is HOT and the premise of booking a weeklong cruise to "relieve high pressure stress is a tempting thought. The story? Not something I will read again. It is not a bad story, yet it is not a good cozy up and sweat read.
Very short, good/not great, and questionable. It wasn't believable to me that Gabriel fell for her so hard when she was disrespectful time and time again. Given a lot of clues that the scene wasn't how either one of them normally did things , and there was not a lot of connection made with each other to set them both so strongly off balance to cause the story to end the way it did. Don't get me I loved the way it ended and the sex scenes, but the end just didn't seem believable. It's short and hot so definitely read it.
I bought this on my phone, so I could not see that it was a short story. I had read and enjoyed With This Collar (Mastered) and assumed, based on that story and the price, that this would be a full length story. After reading it, I was doubly disappointed, as there was nothing in the way of character development and plot. It does have two graphic sex scenes involving m/m/f action, but you can get better ones elsewhere at a much lower price point.
